    Impressions of the Storm         -        Mixed on canvas - 40.5 x 29 in (approx)

Even though I was caught in the outer edge of it, most of my impressions of the actual storm were the result of television coverage, which is represented by the crying face within the gray square in the upper left corner. While the skulls, gravestones and rooftops refer to the loss of life and destruction, the Angel (despite her broken heart) and white roses offer hope of resurrection and renewal.
